First I have owned Fisher plows for 13 years so i know them well. I
need a like more infor on your problem. The pump motor itself is a
seperate function for the spool valve that cantrol the hydraulic flow.
When they do nor open it will fotce pump to work against releif valve
and cause it to squeal. You may have ice crystals in the pump circuit
which can cause to to stop working and squeal. (I had this happen to
me once is severe cold but since then I add about 1 oz of gas
antifreeze to fluid with each change and it has never happened again)
